All of these reason are invalid. They rely more on the producer of the content, not the format.

Idk about you guys, but Video CD is amazing. That beautiful mono track and the neverending piracy. Obviously the best format. Gotta love that 4:3

Well, I never!, how else are we going to “watch” 6 trailers before arriving at the menu where we can select the movie and watch 4 more trailers that we can’t skip. Also, I don’t know where I’d be without the piracy warnings and “winners don’t use drugs!” slogans from early childhood. I’d probably be in jail.

I used to own a bootleg version of the incredible hulk where every single piece of dialog was one or two notes higher than they should be. Background music was fine. It really irked me.
Gotta love those official 3 disc movies!
