Yeah, that can be seen as very bad or great.
I am finding it more in the great side of the spectrum, didn't really want to dig my Wii U out of the dust to play the game.

PS: Also, refunding is an option, so there shouldn't be much of a problem.

so they raised $5.5 million on kickstarter, i bet after everyone who refunds because of them dropping wii u, it will still be $5.5 million :)

it's understandable i guess, if it would take a lot of work or money to port/adapt/bring to wii u, yes better to spend that on the switch.

if it's a decision between wii u or switch, surely switch is more important.
but ¿porque no los dos? (money)

Now, stuff like this is a just a kick in the face for the supporters. This far into it and you choose now to take it back?
The WiiU is dead. They're offering options to change your order or to take your money back. There's no issue other than Nintendo making a new console, which was desperately needed.

You'd rather they support a dead console instead of a new one? Ouch.
You misunderstand. I'm talking about the work involved. I guess it happens each generation jump, though. Can't say I'm surprised.

Yes, yes it was. Enjoying every minute of it. Getting this and Yooka Laylee for the switch.

This game is turning into another Mighty Number 9. Original release date was this month, and now we find out it's still "in a very early stage of development" and is pushed back into 2018.

Inb4 the game runs at an abysmal framerate and gets pizza explosions :creep:

At least they offered a refund, I didn't backed the game but I was expecting to get it on the Wii U if the reviews are good.

I'm sensing there's a bigger payoff if they bring the game to the latest console, the Switch, compared to releasing it on the Wii U. Any devs got this memo or something? hehe.

after SOTN, i have extremely high expectations for this game. Hopefully it is not a sort of Wii U port on Switch even tho they said they will cease development for Wii U else we'll end up with a game that has a lot of issues.

By the way, am i the only one who wants them to release a Miriam amiibo for this? :P
