Hacking Blobby Volley Wii homebrew for vWii?

Hello,
I am a big fan of "Blobby Volley", a freeware volleyball game for PC. It has a simple but addictive gameplay (also playable 2 player local).
Someone ported it for the original Wii and it does work perfect on it there. Unfortunately the same built doesn't work on the vWii. It freezes after the launch immediately.

Is there someone who is able to convert it properly for vWii?
