So this game was released today I believe here in the states, my question is. Would it be possible to change out the sound files so I could have the original voice actors rather than these squealing american pigs?

i actually like the american voices and like the anime but if you want to change it it shouldnt be that hard people did change the megaman and lunar game voices all you have to do is swap a couple of files with nds lazy there is actually a topic about changing voices in this section and they tell you how to do it

But dubs suck. They just grab whoever is closest to them at the moment and say "read this". The voice actors they pick for this things just don't care. I also love how they are always afraid to raise their voice. So if they are supposed to scream, we just get a creepy kinda wimper.

Actually when you watch a show for so long (Bleach 143 being the last one I watched) its like replacing an entire character in a show with someone else. it has nothing to do with being elitist.

Thanks for the answer guys, I'll look for it.

And in the English version I can't listen to Ichigo because the voice actor still sounds similar to the way he did Vash.

I'm going to have to agree. After watching the sub for so long I can't even begin to tell how unsettling the voices for the dub is.

People prefering the subs for that reason, that you're just familiar to the Japanese voices. That's fine. I just hate the people that say "LOL THE DUB VOICES SUCK THEY ARE SO GHEY."

And also yeah, some anime dubs are pretty bad (One Piece's dub is the only one off the top of my head that I truly thought was bad...) but to me they're good enough. I always laugh at the people that prefer the Japanese Dragon Ball Z voices...

And the voice of Ichigo is really good, I think it fits perfectly. Granted, yeah, Byakuya could sound like he cares a bit more...

Also I have stupid fun playing the "point out the voices" game with dubs. Watching the Mega Man Star Force special on Cartoon Network a few months back. *points out the lion alien thing* omfg it's Ganju!

I never like dubs. I prefer the English voice, even if they suck. [IMG]

For the record, the subbed version of Ryuusei no Rockman has much better voices.

I think that's to your misunderstanding of what dubs are...

Most anime that's not aimed for children in the US has at least decent English dubs. But ones they dub for kids to watch are just terrible.(most anyway) And I'd say Bleach's English dubs are not bad.

I have to agree there, I think the english voice actors for DBZ were really well picked out. When I first heard the japanese voice afterwards, I wasn't really a fan.

anyways no matter which one you listen to first, you're always going to associate the character with the first voice you hear. If I had not known about subs at all, I'd probably be listening to all english ones in the first place.

Full Metal Alchemist's dubs are pretty good.

im more of a sub fan because whenever they have special attacks in any series and they try to translate it, it sounds kind of retarded...

would you rather hear : GETSUGA TENSHOU!!!!!
    or: Wolf FANG SPLITTING MOOONNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(lol)
and i also find it annoying whenever they repeat the same phrase in anime
somewhere along the line you get that they dont care anymore and they just say it
besides, subs are more awesome because they swear.
    Vegeta: F*CK YOU! (me: :giggle:)
theyre not afraid to make them more mature whereas in dubs they have to keep it all PG
what the hell are they gonna do with a pissed of 4 tailed naruto/fox? (granted he talks, i dont know that yet)
