Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

same setup and problem (except I own an EU 3ds XL)

I keep having the same issue as well. I have a N3DS running emunand 9.5 and gateway. Im installing the CIA with devmenu and when I go to launch blargsnes I get the 3ds screen and then a black screen

I have tried around 150 SNES games on that sound n3ds build. Guess what? 90 % OF THE GAMES BOOT!!!

But there are still some games that don't have audio. Or have other problems. But overall I would say 75-80 % plays near perfect That's Huge!

Has anyone tried booting the Link to the Past DX hack with BlargSNES?
If that runs, I am all set since I can run my MaternalBound hack in it with glorious sound output in my N3DS.

I confirm, Maternalbound Omega works beautifully
I never tested This zelda hack though.

I almost had an orgasm when I heard the Title Screen of MaternalBound Omega boot with blargSNES.
Sounds BEAUTIFUL!!!

I am only curious about Link to the Past DX, since that one is a great improvement over the original game (saves no longer count as deaths!).
If anyone can test it out, please let me know, I won't arrive home until tomorrow it seems. XD

-All new, CD-quality soundtrack (MSU-1, higan/bsnes or SD2SNES only, requires separate download of soundtrack files)
-Improved Pegasus boots, turn while running
-Break pots with sword (L2 or higher)
-Collect items with sword
-Cancel flute transport
-Death counter no longer increments when selecting “Save and Quit”

I guess it won't work.

To me the only missing feature would be Link's voice.
Add that and GBA version < SNES version.

Fuck it. We can just mod blargSNES to run Super Famicom bios and then implement the sound track into a rom hack made for blargnSNES.

Unless the SF has the 3D chip implemented into the BIOS, I won't do this just for Link to the Past DX. And SF BIOS probably doesn't have it.

Is this emulator incompatible with GW?Or need a bios file?

Downloaded this today, I am lovin this so far.very noob question but in my folder I put my games, there is another that looks like my rom (top) that freezes 3ds (bottom plays games fine). Also I would love to have dkc 2,3 and yoshi's island looking forward to a update someday.

Does the top one begin with a dot (.) ? Did you put the files on with a Mac? Macs love to scatter those meta files everywhere. Either just ignore it, or use something on your computer to delete hidden files.

Same. Even .3ds doesn't work. I think it is just incompatible with GW 9.7. It worked fine on 9.5 and before for me. But it is funny that so few members are having problems.

When loading a ROM, blargSNES tries to detect its type by looking for common instruction sequences and other things in a few potential-header spots. Maybe I should make it fail if all of the scores are too low, or add a minimum ROM size.

I am using a older version of blargsnes version 1.2 but it works fine for me on GW emunand 9.7 as a .cia file.

Ok, 1.2 works for me as well. Funny thing, that 1.2 works, but not 1.3...
