Hacking Black Screens with Comic Book Ds 2.2?

I'm using a 2 gig sandisk tf card formatted in fat16 with 32kb clusters, and i'm having problems with comic book ds 2.2

i tried it on my 64meg sandisk tf card and it works perfectly, so i think its something wrong with the way my 2 gig card is formatted

what format should it be for best homebrew support ect?

I use FAT32. I don't know about the clusters, I just formatted it to that. Sometimes it freezes up on me though, but very rarely.
