Hacking black screen with Punch Out!!

Whenever i try to play my burned copy of punch out it just goes to a black screen. Im using the Gamma .3 loader, and my firmware is 4.0. anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I used a dvd-r with ImgBurn

you might have the same problem my cousin did. so just install the ios 38 ios 53 and ios55

so i just installed those ios wads and its still the same issue. im running a US wii, i forgot to mention. should i try forcing something? could this also be caused by maybe burning the disk to fast/slow?

downgrade to 3.2u useing softmii and starfall and you should b fine cuz i got a 3.2u wii and punch out and mine all works fine.

I was on 3.2 earlier, and im fairly sure the ios were installed before i updated. i only updated today and the problem is the same. its not that big of deal i suppose ill live, maybe ill try and find a new iso, or reburning it. whats a good speed again for wii games? i havent burned one in a while and cant remember

it could be the source of the game. where you got it from maybe.
