Hacking Black screen when launching Neogamma Backup Loader 0.3?

I'm new to the whole softmod thing so please bear with me...

I put Homebrew Channel, etc. on my 4.1E Wii.

and all the guides it says you also need...

Well, it installed all the wads perfectly and on my system menu I now have the Neogamma Backup Launcher. However, when I select it and press START, it just gives me a black screen... also when I hold 1 (for configuration) it gives me a black screen. it does this with and without a disc in the slot.
There's no extras attached to the wii except for the SD card in the slot.

Can someone help me please?

Sounds like a 4.1 issue.. downgrade to 3.2 maybe?

Not even close. NeoGamma is ideal on 4.0+ systems.

Uninstall the NeoGamma you use now, and use one from here.

How can I uninstall it with the channel and all?
I installed two different versions of the backup loader 0.3... they both have a channel now... how do I get rid of them?

Also, if I install Neogamma R7; What IOS cIOS, etc. should I install and where?

Ok, without uninstalling anything (or installing a particular cIOS other than the ones I had installed) I tried to load R7, but it also gave me a black screen... Can someone walk me through this please?

Well, now EVERYTHING I try to run from HBC gives me a black screen...

I can't even run Wad Manager anymore! :|

So, I ended up deleting HBC and the other stuff from the Wii blocks manager channel thing.

But now I'm not able to load ANY bannerbomb? It just gives me a black screen when I try to run it from an SD-card...

Don't say xyz doesn't work in NeoGamma, if you are in fact using a crappy autoboot crap.

Which cIOS did you install?

Did you do anything to your IOS36 before everything stopped working? Did you downgrade ANYTHING?

If he has a new Wii and wants to brick it, that's the best way to go. For NeoGamma it doesn't matter which firmware you are on.

so I installed/patched IOS36,60 and cIOS 38 Rev 14.

But after that I tried various things...

And then I deleted HBC and stuff, and now it won't load bannerbomb. Everything else runs normally, but I can't get anything homebrew to run...
Would a factory reset help to reset the IOS'es so that I can try bannerbomb again?

Reset helps with nothing. If you didn't mess with your IOS36 there's no reason why everything stopped working. Try to load Trucha Bug Restorer or the WAD Manager from cBoot2 with bannerbomb.

I put in the SD with bannerbomb, etc etc on it, it asks if I want to load the dol/elf and then it gives a black screen.

If you knew who i am, you would just try what i suggested. And what do you mean with "I can't get into bannerbomb", you get to the point where it asks you to launch the .dol/elf, do you think bannerbomb does anything else than that?

Okay... I did't know that Bannerbomb was just a loader. I thought it actually did something.

I was able to get into the Trucha Bug Restorer. What should I do there?

Edit: I installed the patched IOS36. Will try a lot more tomorrow. Sleep now.
