another question, i just heard something about "IOSpatcher" is this even worth trying??
no. it has nothing to do with it. what you can try is http://bit.ly/9OvsHe + http://bit.ly/at7ewQ

The discs arent erasable because the wii wouldnt read em otherwise.
SDcard: http://bit.ly/bDitWK format it with this

what brand of discs are you using?
also usb drive should be a drive listed here

and stop capsing & cursing - we HATE it.

1 - did you try using both usb ports?
2 - did you format your usb drive correctly?
3 - What format did you go with?
4 - did you try different settings with your loaders?
5 - did your games transfer to your usb drive ok?
6 - from your usb loader: can you see all your games listed on your tv screen?
7 - when you boot up your wii, are you seeing the health and safety screen before the wii menu?
8 - are your loaders launched from the wii menu or from the homebrew channel?
9 - you do have a sd card in the wii, if loading from homebrew channel?
10 - Please answer all of these from 1 to 9, maybe we can help you better from your answers.
