I have followed this guide: https://www.scenefolks.com/pages.php?page=4210 to setup emuMMC (my firmware is 8.1) with atmosphere 0.9.3 (download on https://sdsetup.com/console?switch)
When I try to launch CFW emuMMC, I get the "splash screen" of atmosphere but then I have a black screen.
Any idea?

I haven't tried to launch CFW internal storage (fearing of having any trace of CFW on my internal storage)

Load OFW with an exfat card if it asks for an update install 8.1.0 with ChoiDujourNXv102 and exfat support.

what is OFW? how to load it?

Load up stock with an exfat card

If it asks to update dont

Grab ChoiDujourNXv102 and 8.1.0 firmware

Run ChoiDujourNXv102 from hombrew

Proceed to install 8.1.0 and if on ipatched switch down enable auto rcm, make sure its set to no

On reboot you now have exfat support

if your fat 32 then your good

make partition 30gb

create emummc and enable emummc

Boot emummc

don't know what's wrong... I tried re-formatting several times with different format (fat32 and exFat). when creating emuMMC, I tried SD File and also SD Partition..

every combinations give me a black screen when booting to CFW emuMMC

side question: I launched CFW sysNAND, do I have now a trace that I used CFW on my sysNAND and nintendo can ban me?

Yes, you infected your sysnand. Usually you are banned for things worse than just running cfw.

if I do a factory reset, trace of running CFW will still be there? Do be honest I just want to play fortnite, paladins and non switch online games... If I get banned, will I still be able to play fortnite, paladins, etc.. the non switch online games?

Factory reset won't remove cfw traces.
You could only remove cfw traces if you have made a nand backup before booting cfw. Did you?
If you get banned you can only play legit and non legit offline games. Forget fortnite.

I haven't tried to launch CFW internal storage (fearing of having any trace of CFW on my internal storage)
After the splash screen..count 4~5 seconds and push the power button..and it will boot the emunand

I have this issue today for my friend's hacked switch to update to firmware, But I cannot found the solution right now.

I always format the SD card to FAT32 > go to hekate to create emuMMC > select emuMMC > Boot it but it show black screen after Nintendo logo.
I don't know why, may be the SDcard is corrupted?

(I have experience to use the emuMMC for my switch.)
