board swap isn't Difficult but some clips are very delicate and break easily if you try to open it the wrong way. Also if the flex cables aren't on properly or the wireless board the system won't boot.

Nah, He tried to downgrade it to 9.2, used New 3DS files. Its a 9.2 Firmware Brick, which is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY Less Stable than 10.7.

Tubehax DNS disables updates which would stop the recovery menu from working.

Doesn't the 3ds let you configure internet settings in Recovery mode? (It happens when you fail to connect)

you can still run some games. with a game in, hold A + B + X +Y + R then turn it on while holding those down. the game shoudl boot up. smae thing happened with my 3ds xl. i can play things like pokemon on it, but animal crossing and smash bros dont work.

and i cant get into homebrew via cubic ninja/oot. so dont even bother trying. it just crashes.
