More information would be good. Like, what micro sd card are you using, what games does it crash on, how old is your supercard, what firmware version are you using, do you trim your roms if so with what and what settings do you have it on.

Stuff like that, you cant expect us to help you with the limited amount of information you gave us.

Okay.
1. I'm using a 1GB Kingston Micro SD.
2. All of the games I've been downloading recently have crashed.
3.My Super Card Lite is about 4 or 5 months old.
4. I'm using V1.84 (The latest one.)
5. And no, I don't trim my roms.

All the games have crashed? Hmm okay download one of the games from a different source and try it. If it still crashes back up all your data and reformat your SD card. Also try the previous firmware versions, new firmware versions can fuck around with your card.

Try that

What patcher version are you using? You are patching the roms before you put them on your microSD right?

Give us an example. Include:

Name of Game
Patcher Version
Patcher Settings
Firmware version

It sounds to me like you are either:

- not patching
- using the wrong patcher version
- using the wrong patcher settings

Provide an example, and we can help figure out what the problem is.

BTW, this really belongs in the SuperCard forum.

Okay, all of the games I've recently downloaded haven't worked.
And I don't know how to patch my roms.

I'd say that might be the problem. The first thing I would do is to look over the review of the SuperCard Lite on this site.

You need to download the latest patcher from Supercard here: SuperCard Software Downloads

You need patcher 2.62 or 2.63 if you're using Firmware 1.84

Then you need to find the patch settings for the game you're trying to play, and patch the rom with those settings.

I'd really recommend going through the review first though. It will help familiarize you with the card a little more.

Edit: Forget what I said about stickied posts in the SC forum. There aren't any that will help you.

@False_Hope, Linux operates on its own frameworks that use far less resources and it's less harsh on performance.

So you'll have to sideload alongside Windows. You can have one partition for Windows and another for Linux.

As for virtual machines, they're not generally the best for playing games due to limitations. Closest would be SoftGPU which are third-party drivers for graphics.
