Hacking bit of help with my R4i Gold 3DS RTS

So after flashing luma onto my 3ds i restored my R4i to play nds games and im having an issues and im wondering if anyone knows how to fix this so i exported the trim.nds file from my Mario Party ds cart put it in the flashcarts sd along with the sav file that i exported from the cart using checkpoint but when i load up the game with the cart it doesnt recognize the sav file it just makes a new one and replaces the one i made

the sav needs to be placed on the SD card of the flashcart on the same folder as the rom. It also needs to be named exactly how the name is.


for example

Game filename: game.nds
save would be : game.nds.sav

had it named right but i think i figured out my mistake for some reason a rom downloaded from a rom site would not work but the legit one from the cart does thx anyways
