It's my birthday today! However, I don't really feel like celebrating because my sister's still in the hospital. I think we're going to go up there and open presents in her room. First we have to look through her room (at home) to try and find the present she got me, because she is unable to tell us.

... I spend 2-3 hours there every day. She can't talk, and over half the time she's sleeping. She doesn't watch tv.

nope, she can't do shit. all she can do is sort of look around. soon they'll be able to take the feeding tube out.

at least today they took out the catheter (a little tube connected to her bladder that empties into a little bag), so she's more comfortable.

well, she can nod yes and no to questions, and move her left arm. other than that, not really anything.
