I wonder why they're releasing the character creator standalone?
I do remember downloading Dragon Age Origins Character Creator several years ago just to see what it is. Shocking truth: It's just a character creator. Neat, but there's no need for it if you have the game already.

Yeah... Not bothering.

While I always play with a male character when given the choice, I really enjoy creating female characters for fun in other games. This character creator is too restrictive with the heavenly mounds and only allows for sad lumps.

I guess I'm one of the few that enjoyed this game, although it was gifted so there's that. Still, the creator is not impressive enough to deserve standalone release.

I can't recall what those pushup-punishments were called..... but it was funny. High fantasy, lol. Vote with your wallet.

Great so everyone can look Pixar-ifed

I don't like the Veilguard..not because it's "woke" or "progressive." That doesn't bother me loke it has for g*mers online.

What pisses me off the most is because Veilguard feels sterilized. PG-13 to a franchise that has always been R rated and didn't talk down to it's mature audience. Where's the grit, violence and boldness that gave the first two games it's identity? The world of dragon age is not whimsical, it's gritty, serious and perilous with uncertainty conflict. There's nothing like that in the Veilguard. Everyone is friends with non-existent conflict.

It makes me sad that if you look at the concept art for Dreadwolf it was going to have a similar darker tone that previous Dragon Age games had

To summarize it feels like Veilguard has abandoned their previous demographic and are chasing a completely new market which I have to come to terms with.
