Most studios, even Sony Pictures, have given up on releasing UMD movies. This already makes Resident Evil Degeneration unique because Sony will release a slightly cheaper UMD version in Japan on December 17. Resident Evil Degeneration on UMD goes for 3,990 yen ($40) while the collector’s edition DVD runs for 4,980 yen ($51).

You know what else Resident Evil Degeneration has? Two language tracks: English and Japanese. Even in Japan Resident Evil games usually have English voice acting so if you want to hear Leon speak Japanese here you go. Collectors might also want to look out for the limited edition Blu-ray box set with the figure above. It’s limited to 5,000 pieces and usually goes for 12,800 yen ($129). Since the Americas and Japan are in the same Blu-ray region the Japanese release will play on a US PlayStation 3 without any fussing around.

I've heard that its really boring, that its more like an extended cutscene. The trailers kinda make it look boring too.

Something I'll probably obtain for free perhaps for me.

Really? The trailer I saw looked pretty exciting... that and I'm a fan of basically anything RE-related, so I'm gonna watch it either way [IMG]

Hopefully it is better than those POS excuses for movies they called a trilogy.

    I hope it's better than the live-action movies, I didn't like those.

I've heard that it isn't really that good unless you're following the actual storyline. It's probably because the voice actors are the very same ones who were voice acting in the games (found their voices to be a bit awkward...not very professional) and something about how the movements most of the people are making aren't at all that human-like.

Ya I know its a movie.
Though I thought it was a new game up until now.

Guess thats why I haven't seen much of it besides RE5 heh xD
