    my posts are often big, and I like to expand the text area of my editor to see more text at once.
    on v5 the height is limited

    The width can be moved to the right, but not the the left.
    If you can't move it to the left, is it possible to disable at least the max-height?
    Thank you.

    I installed stylish addon and did this quickly:

    I don't know if I broke anything else (I didn't try it a lot)

    Code:
    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

    @-moz-document domain("gbatemp.net") {

      .xenForm {
        max-width: none;
      }
      textarea.textCtrl.Elastic {
        max-height:none;
      }

    }
    edit:
    you can add this to make the edit window a little bigger
    Code:
      .xenOverlay {
      max-width: 1000px; /* set a different size if needed, don't use "none" */
      }

    I want to note that the (rich) editor expands in height as you type more text in it.

    Not sure why the bbcode box is limited in height.

    Hey, I think some of the editor tools are missing. Wasn't there a strikethrough button?

    Strike through is on the drop down menu which is two buttons to the left of the undo button.

    yea i knew it still worked but i like the use of a one-click fixs all button.
    oh cool, I didn't even notice that button because it resembles the allignment and indent buttons.

    the strike through button is near the bold and underline if you click on the top-right button of the editor.
    It switches rich text and raw BBcode mode.
    strangely, the available buttons are different, some are missing, etc.

    I wish the "switch" state could be kept memorized.
    I prefer the raw mode, but there's no smiley button there.

    If you disable the rich text editor in the preferences, you can't switch the mode.
    I thought rich text was better on v5, but it's annoying to use with my "auto-copy" addon, as the typing area is not a real textarea input field, it always copy the text selection.
    I'll just get used to the missing smileys button and use the normal mode as default.
