This open-source Homebrew is for reading the Bible on your NDS. According to the project post it includes a text formatter for formatting different translations into a usable structure.

Great program. Any chance of putting bookmarks in the next version so we can bookmark our favourite verses?

Hey everyone reading the Bible on Nintendo DS!

    Thanks for your remarks.

Regarding bookmarking your favourite verses: Moonshell txt reader like bookmarking (bookmark1, bookmark2... with screenshot) would be sufficient, or things like subtext highlighting within page is needed?

How many bookmarks can be expected? (rough estimate of the maximum count)

Could you please write how would you imagine the ideal bookmarking work according to your best expectations?

I cannot make a promise, but might include it in the next version [IMG]

    Best wishes, BibleForNds

    Hello BibleForNds! Thanks for posting!

An ideal bookmarking system for me would be it highlights the verse, and when viewing all your bookmarks, they are clickable, and take you to the section from where they're at.

To place a bookmark, double click a verse with your stylus to add, and twice more to remove.

If this is too complicated, a simple tab on the page would suffice, but I figured I'd place my thoughts down on an ideal one if you're up for it.

Please keep up the excellent work! God Bless you and your family! Happy Memorial day!

It probably depends on the person. Maybe at least 100, ideally 1000. The ideal bookmarking system would be to hold down, or mark the phrase and be able to bookmark it. Then you would have another button with bookmark on that will display all the verses you have stored.
