Bezos and Zuckerberg companies donating to Trump Inauguration

Bezos' Amazon and Zuckerberg's Meta have both committed to 1 million dollar donations to Trump's 2025 inaugural fund. Bezos famously directed the Washington Post to not endorse Kamala in the lead up to the 2024 election.

Trump raised over 100 million dollars for his 2017 inauguration, which was marred by claims of much larger crowds than shown in photographs.

Trump did not attend Biden's inauguration, but several former presidents attended the celebration in 2017. It remains to be seen who will be present in January.

More specific: I get some costs here and there, but how does this costs multiple million dollars?

well i imagine security is a relatively big part of it, of course secret service will be there, but since they have trouble with slight inclines, they have to hire someone competent since at least i imagine 3 of the past presidents will be there. W will have a coloring book but he will definitely be there, the messiah and bill will probably be there, fake president joe biden MIGHT be there, hard to say at this point, and jimmy... probably wont be as he as as old as time itself. All jokes aside, its to make sure no more mario brothers try anything.

Democrats forced him to do so, but it seems they ran out of steam after the money they got from a giant crypto scam dried up. Harris cant even pay her staff.
