Hacking Beup On R4 - Remembering Login Details

Hey, just wondered if it is possible to get BEUP to remember your login details and password. Im using the 0.3final fixed version and ive tried manually entering the email address and password in the 'user' file to no avail.. can anyone shed any light on the matter?
