Apple Better photo app on 3.1.2?

I recently downgraded from ios 4 back to 3.1.2 because it was killing my battery and making my phone unbearably slow. However, I recently noticed that the photo app on ios 4 seemed to display photos in higher quality, less grainy and allowed me to zoom in. It also used a better sorting system. Does anybody know if there is a way to get the photo app from ios4 onto 3.1.2? Or possibly an app with the same features? App store or cydia is fine. Thanks in advance.

HDR apps are probably what you're looking for. The iOS 4 had an HDR built in.

All the HDR apps I see are for the camera app. I import pictures from my computer though. I'm trying to find one like the photo app in ios4 (not the camera app) that let's me view the photo at 100% size. Is there no way to extract the camera app from the ios4 update file?
