If you haven't been following gaming news this week (What, were you more interested in the actual news? Peon.), Bethesda's released several cryptic teasers for an upcoming project. They released no information about the game except that it was not Fallout related.

Well, for all those curious, we finally have our answer.

    [IMG] Game Trailers

The evil within, the evil within, every single one of us the evil within...

The full live action trailer can be viewed here. The trailer freaked me out - not because of the gore and shocking imagery, but because it looks like Pyramid Head went full cubist. What the hell, man?

Still, this is a pretty interesting collaboration between two popular, famed developers - and horror is a genre that's woefully underrepresented at the moment. I'm definitely interested in seeing what this team up can produce.

I just hope Bethesda can keep the bugs in check - Here's hoping "The Evil Within" isn't referring to the source code.

Since it says next-gen, it means the Wii U as well as the netbox and ps4, right? >.>

Well, since it's a Bethesda game I'll opt for the PC verison like always.

Well it seems like it might be fun. And, hey, we can always use more (good) horror games.
Just one thing that bothered me in the trailer though. When we saw Cubey walking with his hammer, was I the only one that thought that the hammer looked off? It somehow seemed too light (weight, not colour) to me.

For once Bethesda does something that interests me.

Bring it to Wii U and I may buy it. If not. Meh. I can skip the Elder Scrolls and their new Fall-Out perfectly fine, so I sure as hell can skip this.

Isn't that just another way to say "Resident Evil?"

Kinda like how Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu came up with The Last Story.

It's like the Japanese aren't very imaginative with their titles, but when they are, we get silly-sounding titles like Revengeance Ground ZeroeZ, Fabula Nova Crystalis Duodecim and Defaultly Brave :P

I am very interested, so long as survival horror doesn't translate to "here's some BOOGA BOOGA" and then Nonstop firefights.

I think the trailer screams Silent Hill. Wheelchair in an abandoned hospital and all... I'm super excited! :D

Looks interesting, cross between Hellraiser, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Saw-I'll stop before I put myself off. Not enough to go on whether or not the game will be any good though.

Also, kinda glad that Bethesda Softworks aren't developing this, there's still hope that they're making Fallout 4.

Finally bothered to watch it and though I am normally one to lean more towards tits gameplay or don't bother.

The trailer itself I reckon would have made an awesome music video or public awareness film (dangers of cliffs if piracy is not an option). Horror wise it looked like a mashup of concepts but as I am still likely to watch most trash zombie films (save any of Romero's newer efforts) that cross my path and, that bit in the cabin the the woods aside, I actually can not remember the last Japanese horror film I saw (got a few ready and waiting mind you) I am game.

Anything that comes from Bethesda is good in my book, so let this come! Nice to see PC in the supported platforms immediately too
