Bethesda finally officially announces the Oblivion remaster

header.jpg

It's been nearly two years since the existence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster was leaked. Rumors regarding its existence continued, while Bethesda continued to not announce the game. Last week, developer Virtuos accidentally let images and information about the game slip out, with insiders claiming that the game would release soon. And release soon it did, as Bethesda has finally announced the Oblivion remaster, shadow-dropping the game today on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5. Now, that leaked Fallout 3 remaster's announcement looms, eventually.

Can someone help me figure out how to buy this using my Amazon gift card for ps5?

Apparently you can’t buy PSN codes below $100 anymore and game codes are for Xbox or pc only

I can’t even find this on amazon tbh in general ..

Looks amazing and seems a fair price for what's on offer (50 USD). Time to struggle through work today and then start my 5th playthrough...

Meh. Too many other games in my backlog to play a remaster of something I've already played. I'll be over here playing Post Trauma tonight, and maybe the demo for Steel Seed to see if it's something I'd enjoy the full version of.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

I would really love to play this remake, but as the previous user said "too many other games in my backlog"... but actually Oblivion is one of them, I was playing it last month again (yes, I've started it 10 times in the last ~20 years, and always something comes up and I drop it after playing some 20 hours and getting nowhere)... I guess I will jump to the remaster, eventually to repeat this cycle.

The only Bethesda game I put a good 100 hours into. Was an instant buy for me, even though I am a bit disappointed by the fact that it only features the English VA.

You'd have to buy gift cards for the Playstation store (instant digital delivery), then redeem them on Playstation and buy it that way. They sell in denominations of $25 on Amazon.

Apparently Amazon blocks these purchases with a gift card balance

I can’t buy the physical ones with over night shipping either…that’s so silly and stupid

Thank you for the help
