Best/worst TV/film endings.

Saw the ending of Prison Break yesterday, and I find it a very good ending.

It's kinda sad he had to die, but it's logic and realistically that he did. No way you could heal a tumor that big so fast!

And if books also count, I find the ending of Harry Potter very bad and the ending of the Darren Shan series pure genious.

Yeah, I agree. Death Note really shouldn't have ended that way IMHO, the bad guy should have won for once!

Berserk, is probably one of the shockers of anime.
and people saying deathnote end was bad. its how obata wanted it to end, in fact it was in his mind pretty much from the start, the scene of light dying in a warehouse type area. It was a nice depiction of how peoples views of right differ in the world but in the end light had killed people. so he got what was coming for him. I liked the ending, even though i hated to see light go.

Is Goku dead or alive when he watched the world martial arts tournament and Goku and Vegeta Jr., how the heck can 25% sayans can go SSJ, we all know Pan can't. The ending is rushed and leaves unanswered questions.

Although not the best of the series it has the best ending with Aria leading the rest of the sisters in a ending Christmas carol that's heartwarming and all the girls singing just adds to the already epic cute sight. It's really sweet to hear Aria's voice when she's singing, it's angelic at best. Just listening to it will make you cry.

Well... I have to say that the worst ending of a TV series isn't an ending... My favourite TV serie was Tru Calling but it didn't have a proper ending cause it was cancelled and didn't end at all.... The best ending for a TV series again must be from Charmed...I loved the show...

Full Metal Alchemist had the best ending and by far the worst ending was The Sopranos...shame since the rest of it was so good.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, My Name Is Earl had a terrible ending; the show didn't even seem to acknowlege that it was finishing and he didn't even get close to finishing his list.

The Matrix Revolutions. It was a great movie (not as good as the first one), but what the fuck? I MADE A RAINBOW FOR NEO DAHHURRR! I wish they atleast made a follow-up movie to tie loose ends. Like what happens to the Matrix? How will the humans and machines get along? What will happen to the world?

Las Vegas had a terrible ending, it ended with To Be Continued.... after which NBC cancelled the show.
Another bad ending was with Becker, it didn't even feel like an ending!

It was originally supposed to be 90 mins long but the network ended up editing it down to 45 mins and made a mess of it. From stuff I've read it sounded like it would have tied everything up nicely if they'd have left it as it was.

Iunno the moment I saw worst endings, I thought War of the Worlds. Terrible... just terrible...
