I am potentially going to buy a new (not New) 3DS XL and potentially a New (New New) 3DS XL, and I would like to know the best way to transfer my CIA game saves? For this example we can imagine that I'll only be working with a regular 3DS XL since we don't know enough about the New one's yet. What would be the best way to transfer my saves if I use CIA games? I have retail carts, I just prefer to use CIA's. Should I move all my saves to the retail carts and then do a system transfer through emuNAND? Should I just back up the CIA saves and plan on exploiting my next device and then restore the saves? Should I try and extract the saves from CIA, my Gateway card, AND put them back on the retail cart just in case of any incompatibility?
