Hello, I'm a new-ish user here, and I'm having some trouble with the ModMii Classic (7.0.2) Sneek Installer, for a UNEEK+DI install. I get an error: Grabbing Modules for neek2o Rev96 WARNING: Some files Required for the neek2o install are missing. Aborting neek2o Installation, check your internet connection Then repeat the Installation to try again. . I manually downloaded the neek2o files into the temp folder, but it doesn't seem to see it. I've let ModMii through the firewall and run it as administrator, but the problem still exists. I'm kinda stuck on what to do atp, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for reporting! Some sourceforge links have changed and if you don't already have neek files saved to ModMii's temp folder it will fail to download them. To fix it, open Support\ModMii.bat in notepad and edit replace all instances of

I recently generated sneek2o+di files using ModMii (no SD access). I have a nand on my SD: card that contains about 100 WiiWare/VC games and I can boot into it without any problems.

Are there any apps that I can autoboot in the sneek environment that will allow me to browse through all of the installed channels and then select one to launch?

This is my first time using sneek and it doesn't appear that I can autoboot Postloader like I normally do in uneek2o environments.

I'm looking to avoid using the system menu or the sneek overlay menu if I can.

The big 3 usbloaders can be run in real nand and be directed to also see games installed to your emunand, not sure if this is what you intended.

AFAIK the only other (outdated) app, that was promoted to primarily run on neek, aside from Postloader, was JoyFlow

Hello Xflak, sorry to bother you again. Im having trouble getting Modmii to download d2x v11 beta 1 WITHOUT fakemote. Whenever I go into the options > d2x and select plain v11, upon exiting back to the options screen d2x v11 beta 1 FMO50 appears selected.

Hello everyone.

Sorry to bother, i happen to be on the process of creating a EmuNand with neek2o using ModMii and this same problem pop up, i did the changes to "ModMii.bat" as specified, but the problem persist.

Is there any way to add the files manually to the "temp folder"?

Yes, if u can source the files from a previous modmii installation that has a more complete temp folder, or if you manually download them using a different tool and name them as modmii expects

I'm assuming the only missing download is now 0000000e.app from ios80, and while nusfilegrabber should still be working to grab individual content files (perhaps a dif server needs to be specified?) I will likely be switching tools entirely (and default servers) in my next update so even if u take no workaround action it should be resolved then

Edit : or (ideally find me on discord and) ask to be a beta tester for my latest and greatest but still incomplete version of modmii

Hotfix for another bug added to the bottom of the first post:

4b) "Some files required for neek installation are missing" or csm themes failed to download is due to NusFileGrabber using RC24's redirect to grab NUS content, To fix it, open Support\ModMii.bat in notepad and edit replace all instances of

Hopefully all these hotfixes won't be necessary for very long :)

Bottom of first post updated with the following:

1) Some users may get a "Get-Disk.vbs not found" error usually only if using ModMii Skin. You can safely ignore that message and just click OK and proceed like normal. That file is simply trying to detect the format details of hdd's connected to the PC to include in a spoiler in your guide to save u the trouble of manually checking those details following the steps in your guide. The error is harmless and u can ignore it. It can also be manually repaired by replacing the following:

Something funny going on with the latest version I am using of modmii
it can't recognize the support/sfk and also not the wget
i changed a PATH setting to make it possible to run the modmii package in the default folder but am still unable to use it
so running W10 22H2 Enterprise on an old Lenovo T460

if i run modmii.exe or the batchfile in the support folder;
'support\sfk' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I can run this from anywhere in CMD prompt , so is my W10 too strict ?

on the modmiiskin.exe I get this support\wget problem and afterwards it just stops

any tips advice ?

When I'm going through the command version of ModMii with the "S = SNEEK Installation, EmuNAND Builder\Modifier, Game Bulk Extractor" selection, followed by "3 = All the above (Recommended for first time SNEEK users)", and then "1 = 96 (hosted online)", I'm seeing some options that I'd like to better understand:
  • "Would you like a Post Loader Forwarder Channel on your emulated NAND?"
    • Is there any HARM in installing this? Does it break, remove, or overwrite functions, apps, or tools that I would otherwise have if I did not install it?
  • "Would you like to install cIOS249 rev14 to your emulated NAND?"
    • Is there any reason NOT to install this?
  • "Would you like DML or NMM on your emulated NAND?" (Only one of these can be installed)
    • If I don't install DML because I want NMM, am I able to use Nintendont on a Emulated NAND/SNEEK? If not, what is the alternative for playing GameCube games, if any?
    • Let's say I did install NMM. In future, if I wanted to, could I toggle a setting off to redirect all GameCube Memory Card access back to a physical GameCube memory card? Or uninstall this and that reverts back to the physical GC memory card?
  • "Would you like Priiloader (and hacks) on your emulated NAND? Note: neek2o rev93-96 will bypass Priiloader if detected on EmuNAND."
    • Is there any reason NOT to install this? I guess it would be skipped over anyway if I understand that Note correctly, but perhaps there's some other use for it on rev96?
Just trying to make an informed decision and not miss out on any features!

All of those are pretty unnecessary these days, but harmless especially since it's a virgin emunand and can always be reconstructed differently or modifed. Shouldn't interfere with Nintendont either. Sorry for the rushed reply!

Edit: If u still have questions let me know and I can elaborate more when I'm not on the road.

Edit2: I don't have much personal experience with NMM or DML, most if not all of their combined features can be done with other tools. Nintendont didn't exist at the time. I think there's a particular game or use case where DML is reported to work better or something, but for the majority of users I wouldn't bother unless you are unhappy with something after using the standard set up
