but its says unable to connect to the internet and no DML versions saved locally.

i dont know why is is saying "unable to connect to the internet" because im able to connect to the net and my firewall is allowing ModMi.

XFlak this kind of things is common with me where i get a problem and idk why.

I have been getting the error about downloading revisions for DML as well.

Downloading revisions for neek2o is fine though.

Despite having the latest beta of d2x cIOS beta-v9 (r47), SysCheck Updater requires me to download and install final-v8 of d2x cIOS. :/

  1. Did you look into that bug I reported about download queues?
  2. What do you think about removing "d2x" from the code you type in to select d2x files (so instead of "249d2x37", you just type "24937")? I have to go through advanced downloads everytime because I don't use the standard setup.
  3. Now that SysCheck doesn't have the SD mounting problem, would you consider either (1) maxing out the d2x version numbers to 65535 or (2) using 655XX where XX is the d2x version? That way they won't get overwritten in the event of an accidental update.

re. DML, ModMii purposely does not list any depreciated versions of DML, and for some reason all the versions of DML have been depreciated, see here:
http://code.google.com/p/dios-mios-lite-source-project/downloads/list?can=4&q=&colspec=Filename+Summary+Uploaded+ReleaseDate+Size+DownloadCount

I'm not sure if this is another attempt to screw with me or if there is another more legit reason. Anyways, depending on the reason I might just have ModMii also list depreciated versions of DML as available in the next update. Until then, you can modify the current version of ModMii to show depreciated versions as available by opening support\modmii.bat in notepad and replace all instances of this:
Code:
http://code.google.com/p/dios-mios-lite-source-project/downloads/list
with this:
Code:
http://code.google.com/p/dios-mios-lite-source-project/downloads/list?can=1&q=&colspec=Filename+Summary+Uploaded+ReleaseDate+Size+DownloadCount

@[member='LWares87'], ModMii's syscheck updater will make sure you have the version of d2x installed that ModMii is currently set to build. For ModMii to consider d2x v9 (r47) as up-to-date, change your ModMii d2x beta settings to v9 (r47) and repeat the syscheck updater.

@[member='JoostinOnline'],
1) yup, fixed in the last update (under "other minor changes" lol). You can confirm its fixed if you want by saving d2x cIOSs in a download queue using an old version of ModMii (one that includes d2x v7 or lower), then loading that old queue in the latest version.
2) I don't mind doing that, as long as no one else objects (and you do my laundry for a month, lol, jks jks). If I forget, just remind me.
3) I don't think so, but this decision is not up to me. I won't make a change to d2x that davebaol doesn't support and mirror in the d2x cIOS Installer (which also installs d2x cIOSs as version 2100X). Only if you convince davebaol, then I'll support the change.

It might be because, I haven't got the latest version of ModMii. As I'm currently a version behind and I haven't bothered updating.

Now I can download the files, but they still aren't displayed correctly. I tried both using an old download queue, and creating a new one.

@LWares87,
u can only build d2x v9 (r47) WADs using the latest ModMii, but if you just change the d2x beta setting to v9 (r47) -- without having to build any cIOSs -- then repeat the syscheck updater, it will check to make sure u have v9 (r47) installed (even older versions of ModMii should work, they just won't be able to properly build v9+ versions of d2x)

anyways, regardless of whether you update ModMii or not, from the main menu enter "4", "beta", choose v9 (r47), then you can just close modmii and drag and drop your syscheck log onto modmii.exe and it should now consider d2x v9 (r47) as up-to-date.

@Joostin,
shit my bad. I don't know why i thought u were talking about a different problem that I fixed in the last update (one that no one reported, I just caught and fixed). The fix for the problem you're referring to will be in the next update, if you need it asap I can hook u up with a beta when I get home.

from ModMii Classic's main menu, type "4", then "DML", then pick the rev you want to build, then "d", then "y". Then install the DML wad you just created on your Wii. Then you can access it via sneek+di, neogamma, wiiflow-mod, cfg-loader-mod, postloader, and probably usbloadergx. You should still read up on DML to make sure you save your GC games to SD:\games\ on a properly formatted sd card in the proper fst format (ie. each game is saved as a folder with all its contents extracted to seperate files). ModMii can do this for you (from main menu, enter "S", then "4"), but ModMii uses wit.exe and while wit.exe usually works fine, crediar's discex tool is recommended for best results.

okay ive followed this to the last letter, and I still cant see play gamecube backups of my SD, could it be because my Wii is a new model, its black. none of the loaders seem to see the gamecube games.

Just out of curiosity

Scenario:
someone has a 3.X or 4.X Korean WII without knowing it
has been region changed to US

If used with ModMii's complete all-in-one softmod method in the case where the person wants to go to SM 4.3, will it work without that 003 (or w/e number) brick?

So basically asking if it was safe to use modmii's full softmod method if the buyer doesn't have any single clue that he bought a region changed Korean WII.

PS: This is not a real case, was just a question I had in mind for several weeks now

Yes it's totally safe. ModMii installs a patched IOS60 to all system menu slots, so it will prevent 003 bricks and even downgrade bricks for LU64+ Wii's (not that ModMii ever instructs users to downgrade\install a 3.X system menu anyways, but the downgrade protection is installed just in case users take it upon themselves to do something stupid).

Next question: Can I blindly use the complete re-softmod to update all my hacks (but skipping BootMii, Priiloader and HBC - i already have those up-to-date)? (I used the Modify ANY Wii 4.3 tutorial like 1 or 2 years ago)

Also: Is it safe to download/update official Nintendo channels when WII is softmodded?

ModMii works on the PC. The guide that it generates will work on every wii
I know ModMii is on the PC, my question was more like: Are the IOS/cIOS compatible with the new WIIs

(I was reading that other dudes problem getting to run Casper on his new KU61 WII and he had issues so I was asking if the IOS/cIOS would cause issues)
