Hacking Best way to crack this XBox 360 specifically?

I've never cracked a 360 before, and I can't make heads or tails of all the 'turorials' out there that are out dated, or bogus, or malicious, or just down right wrong.
Can anyone direct me to a modern, legitimate way to crack THIS 360 I got for $12 at a Salvation Army?

As others said, you can use the RGH3 method.

It's not the most reliable method (slow boot times) for the phat models, but it is by far the cheapest method.

Since this is a phat model, if you can afford it, I recommend going with RGH1.2 for reliable and quick boot times. This, however, is the most expensive option because it requires a programmer for the glitch chip.

I recommend using the X360 ACE v3 chip (about $10), but this is expensive since you need a specific programmer (NAND-X - $35 minimum even from China.) Otherwise a Matrix Glitcher ($10-$15) can be used instead and the cheapest programmer for it is $15 (MTX SPI NAND Flasher.)

Exactly as others suggested, RGH. RGH3 isn't horrible on phat models. If it is taking a long time to glitch, just power it off, wait 30 seconds or so and it will usually boot in around 10-15 seconds. At least that's been my experience with a falcon. Looks like you have jasper there so might be a little more reliable. I'd suggest going with a 10k resistor but you can try the 22k as suggested in the guides to see if it works for you. I found for myself with the 22k the console would randomly freeze in the dashboard or power off on it's own but with the 10k it's no longer doing that.

Just taking a guess here, but I'm thinking OP assumes there's a softmod or easier way to crack the 360 than RGH that requires a few tools, but there isn't.
