I want to backup me and my wifes botw saves, whats the best way to do it? On 1.0, planning to do rajkosto method. I have a 64 gb sd card, but on 1.0 I don't think switch will read it? Other sd cards are small. So if there is a program just to rip single game saves, that would be great.

So it would be perfect, but it can only backup and not restore? I wouldn't mind if I was certain he was gonna add it soon.... Do you know if there's a way to restore the files?
I apologize in advance. You would have to ask Ronhero how he managed to load the save file as it appears he was successful, but did not provide any details of how he did it.

Okay so I noticed this:
"If you wish to import the .svi files back into your system with the use of a different tool you can easily decompress the archive, scrap away svitch_saveheader.svh and re-import it normally."

So I backup, do the update, then extract the files, then use checkpoint to restore the files extracted from the svi?

Sorry, like I said not really sure how Ronhero managed to restore it but after mulling it over dinner, if Svitch doesn't restore, then he must have used another tool to restore it. (Wish he specified which one he used to restore if that's the case...)

I didn't restore it. I have a sx pro on my 5.1 console.

I did sx pro side load to henkate for 1.0 loaded yet another save and boom it worked. I even was bsing with Rei and he couldn't really help me or didn't want to be bothered with old ron (we go back a while so i can say that hoping his ass sees this)

I then used checkpoint on the other switch to load it so if you are doing a factory reset and upgrading without buring fuses it will work fine
