Best version of Rainbow Road music?

I'm going to say, the GCN Rainbow Road (double-dash) version, there's nothing to be improved. I do like the SNES version but it kinda sounds like an ear rape.

N64 one is a little boring, same for DS.

Forgotten the Wii version. 3DS version second behind MKDD, never heard MK8.

My TOP 3 is N64 (classic), GCN and Wii.

None of them. It comes up when we are playing some mario kart and everybody dreads it/the lack of a decent track skip/track selection. The music for it is second only Sonic drowning music in terms of things that signal I am going to have a tedious few minutes of gaming.
A friend once seriously suggested rainbow road as a track selection. He was subsequently shunned so hard none of us can recall his name any more.
