I really, REALLY like the Snes/Nes Classic interface for selecting games. Its simple and effective and it works for my young kids.

They see a game by the artwork, select the game and play the game.

If I mod my Wii U is there some sort of user interface that I can use upon Power On that will bring up a list off all games whether they be nintendo 64, gamecube, or wii u in the same type of format?

I am looking for minimal navigation just power on the system, find donkey kong 64 or mario kart 8 based on the artwork and play the game

Your best bet is probably to just install the Wii U games and Virtual Console games in order to have them all easily accessible from the Wii U menu.

The Wii U eShop is alive and well, and even if it weren't, you can still install Virtual Console backups to your Wii U.
