My subscription is up and I need to find a new usenet network. Do you have any recommendations?

    www.hitnews.eu

Works out at about $56 for 6 months unlimited access.

You can also share the account between several people if you want (total threads for download at one time is 8 maximum though)

Giganews is by far the best. 200 day retention, full speed all the time, and it has all the newsgroups. But you need a credit card and also their not cheap.

i use hitnews.eu. fast enough for me, even though i'm in USA (saturates my 6mbit connection), and the cheapest unlimited usenet i could find (if you buy 6 months a once, about $9/month...though you pay in euros, so i curse the dropping dollar, used to be like $8/mo lol )

    No! Use mine. [IMG]

Just kidding, but they are really good because they let you have block accounts. $15/50 gigs is a really good deal especially since good releases for the Wii come only once in a while. I usually only download less than 10-20 gigs per month from Usenet anyway. It maxes out my connection like any other Usenet provider would. [IMG]

If you download very often then it is more economical to buy a subscription based service. Hitnews.eu was good to me during the 3 day trial.
