I was wondering what TV looks the best for old systems like Atari and sega genesis. I want to get a bigger TV (Screen Size) but Dont have enough room for a Tube because I already have an HD TV in the room. Is there some sort of flat panel non widescreen tv/monitor that would display games nicely. One thing that I dont understand is how Emulators for the PC can make old games look even better than they originally did on TV's. I assume you would need S video or some type of hookup for each system to make it look good on HD TV's but I am looking at TV's not to get new connections.

Emulators look better on the PC because they run a layer of anti-aliasing over the video to smooth it out.
