Yeah, I've got the GB ones running through Goomba, but are there no actual GBA ones? It seems incredible that nobody would make one, given how much the Japanese love them.

yes the picross games are very good puzzle games, but there isnt any version for GBA, maybe in the future nintendo remake the old mario picross, that would be great.

I might have fat fingered something or it might have been a revised romanisation
Been a while since I thought about this game.
Space Hexcite - Maetel Legend EX is going to be it.
    French but hopefully illustrates it.

If you are after GBA puzzlers should also note that there are a bunch on

While googling stuff related to Guru Logic Champ (a long time favourite) I discovered a recommendation for another Japanese puzzle game called Hatena Satena, which nobody has mentioned yet in this thread. The gameplay is like a mashup of picross and minesweeper, and I love it. The presentation is very cutesy, but also very text-heavy story-based which is a lot to plough through when I don't understand a word. Google doesn't seem to think anyone's tried to translate it - would be nice to see if anyone's up for a project (even just translated menus would be helpful).

edit: I found this faq which might help with the main menus, as well as a gameplay explanation if you haven't figured it out yourself. Also useful to know is for the in-game menu that comes up when you press start, the last (lowest) option in the right hand column is "restart puzzle" (then select the left option of the two that come up at the bottom of the screen to confirm), and the second option down in the left column is to suspend the puzzle (return you to the title screen, so you can power off and come back to where you are in the puzzle later). The first option in left column is continue, I don't remember about the others.
