What is your favorite Online FPS game?
If other just post.
Unreal Tournament III, even though I prefer playing over Lan rather than online.
quake 3 (+jbpow)
Team Fortress 2
SWAT 4 (plus exp) still
While I'm an avid UT fan from many years ago, Call of Duty's polish and variety is unsurpassed, specially with the experience and stuff-unlocking component.
Don't know why Wolfenstein: Enemy Terriroty aint on the list!!! Its my favorite and its free!!
you don't have put battlefield (1942, vietnam, 2, 2142) or quake wars enemy territory......
quake wars is the best i think, i ve played a lot on wolfenstein before, and QWET add evrything that wolf have before in better
you just added steam stuff, CoD4, unreal tournament, and Halo.
I do vote TF2 though, fun graphics and very customizable with creating levels and extras.
It depends on what mood I am in.
Stuff like unreal and deus ex are good for a quick jaunt but having once played a game on line of sight vietnam against people of similar ability to myself I can say the tactical mid-long range FPS is by far and away my favourite.
Rainbow six vegas would have shown up but for some awful bugs (respawn points able to be overrun the main one here).
Shout out to the mod making people, I have played some terrible mods but I have equally played some astounding mods over the course of things.
OMG. Didn't even put up the best FPS in the history of gaming. Quake 3. Just ... wow.
On that list.. Team Fortress 2
I miss Quake..
halo 3 ftw! i no its overrated, but i've played quite a bit of fps' in my time and i liked it the most.
TF2, although the medic achievements really put me off playing, I stopped playing Pyro and started to go Medic every round just to become an achievement-whore. I keep meaning to start playing again the fun way, though.
I miss the Quake 1 and 2 levels as well.
For me, nothing will ever beat the first Halo.
I have to go with classic Counter Strike. That game introduced me to the world of online FPS.
