    whats the best emulator for the DS so i can play old nintendo games

    i want to mostly play PunchOUT ! the original one and the original super mario games

    I tried nesDS a while ago. I hear that doesn't have saving on R4/M3S yet tho.

    I'd like to know the answer to this question as well (as I have an M3S)

    The link in my previous reply has a whole forum dedicated to nesDS as well as many other emu's. Go check it out.

    I just read there the DLDI will be coming for nesDS which will let you save on slot1 cards.

    ackk ic ant cant this to work on my r4ds

    i downloaded some roms and compiled them and i got a nesds.ds.gba file

    how do i run it ?

    Well that wasn't the only problem. Another one was that the touchscreen was off for some strange reason. So you can't really press anything

    well Punchout doesnt work that gret graphics glitches im not impressed yuck

    Contra and Megaman 2 have some graphic problems too. It seems like NES support for slot 1s is kinda less than stellar right now. Oh well.

    punchout does have the graphic glitch.. its well known ..its not the rom its the emus unfortunately.
