Does it run the Metal Slug series at full speed?

Just play Metal Slug Anthology [IMG]
(Yes, it's a lot larger than just the roms, but I think it's worth it)

Lol, stupid me, forgot about that.

As for other NeoGeo ROMs, they run at full speed? I don't have a PSP yet, so can't check [IMG]

Rarely, in the Metal Slug games (Only games I've played in MVSPSP are MS 1, X, 3) When there is a LOT of explosions it gets slow. Metal Slug Anthology is emulated too, so don't expect it to run full speed.

Uhm, everything is fullspeed here. Only game that is not, with raster effect on, is turf master.

Oh and when i say fullspeed, i mean it with 0 frameskip. Alot of peoples uses Fullspeed when speaking about frameskip rate of 1 or 2. Thats not fullspeed.

Even on 333MHz I get slowdowns with a lot of explosions. Hmm, IDK then. Even so, they are rare.

Oh with Mslug u say? Yeah, but consider that mslug lags even in original card, aes or mvs, that doesnt matter, it does lag.

Well, emulated it does lag a bit more, but nothing to be impressed of.

Also, the Anthology versions are slowdown-free as long as i played them, finished the 6 and the 4,5 and 1, never had a problem at all.

    I mean, no slowdowns.

Anyway theres no doubts, MVSpsp + PSP Slim is the best way to have a portable neogeo, in widescreen, with command.dat support and unibios.

Well, mvspsp supports up to metal slug 5, plus an hacked bootleg that's named metal slug 6.

MSlug anthology emulates only the first Five episodes.

The sixth one was originally developed for atomiswave, so this means that is a genuine porting.

As i said, they dont slowdown or lag at all, if not in those areas where the original AES cart lag as well.

Its like SNK Arcade Classics 1: it got a perfect emulated arcade version of Turf Masters, with raster effect on. It awesome.

Thats the only game who cannot be emulated correctly on MVSpsp due to slowdown happening when you turn on the raster effect.

Also, the self-coded snk emulator used in both Anthology and SNK AC seems to be a bit more efficent than the mvspsp.

My best go will be to have both SNK AC and MS Anthology, ripped in their bonus contents, in CSO format and to have MVSpsp for all the other games, like garou, rb2 or kof2003.

Thats true SNK portable power, imho.
