Gaming Best method for restoring pokemon saves to original game?

i want to restore my .sav to original pokemon games what is the best method for all the DS games from D/P to B/W 2?

homebrew or hardware? or?

You can use a software option that is unless you do not have a flash card Slot-1.
The application that I have used, originally specific to these Pokémon games, is savegame_manager.
I have not use the hardware option but word is that it works if it is an updated backup device.
