Hey guys,

I'm about to buy 50 DVD-R's but not sure if they are the right ones.
Will these ones do:
Verbatim, Silver, Datalife plus, Advanced AZO, 16x, 4.7 GB

What type of discs do you use and how well have they performed?

Thanks,
moloko23

I use Verbatim 16x DVD-R.

I had one DRE with ExciteTruck and that's it playing all weekend. And I mean ALL weekend, about 20 hours of gaming!

Ya I bought the Verbatim 16x DVD-R Advances AZO+

They are pretty high quality media, I hope I don't get any DRE's

EDIT:
So far I've burned 25 games on an external (USB) LITE-ON 16xDVDRW SOHW-1673S at 6x and haven't gotten one DRE yet.
The only problems I've faced is with NTSC games, like Elebits and Wing Island. Sometimes when I insert Elebits a black screen with a little paragraph of text saying the disc is broken or whatever but then I just reboot the console and it works fine.

I've been using Memorex 16x (burning at a safe 2.4x) (100 pack).

Works well with the WiiKey.

Some DREs on the original cube, though I solved this by burning at 2.4x (originally burning at 4x). Probably just needs a lens adjustment... but I'm lazy.
