Id like to buy a new tv for my room this month, just for playing wii and 360, out of the ones listed below which one would you choose? Or if you have any other suggestions the budget is £450. The 360 will be connected via vga, and the wii via component.

Samsung 23"

samsung 26"

Another 26" sammy

A 22" Lg

A sony bravia 26"

Any help would be amazing, cheers guys.

It'd be best if I actually saw your room, to be honest. I mean, a 32" flat screen would work for me, but something like a 26" in yours might feel too big. I mean, you don't your TV dominating your bedroom.

i think a 32" is a perfect size for any bedroom, unless of course you have an extremely tiny room.
at least it is perfect for me.

My friend's room would probably accomodate a 42", seriously. I know what you mean, though, 32" probably is best for most bedrooms, considering they're all flatscreen these days.

I always feel sorry for people that have to buy electronics in GBP. I got a 32" 720p LCD for $450 USD, about 6 months ago (it was refurbished, but it works great & looks pristine)

For that kind of cash you are in projector country (I know I do this every new TV thread but they are really good).
A good start (you can not really get much cheaper before you hit toy projectors or low res ones):
http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=ACER+X1...amp;output=html
Couple this with a VGA adapter
one 360 one (and there are many others):
http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=xbox+36...amp;output=html
Wii adapters, see normal vga box discussion. Threads here and all over the internet. Something to get you started.

and some speakers and whatever and you are sorted (you can also reasonably drag it to a friends house).

Thanks for the suggestion, but i dont really have anwhere to actually put the projector, if you know what i mean. Every piec of my room is taken up by something, and thats not saying much. I only have a shelf with my current setup on it, a chest of draws, and a bed.....and theres no space for anyhting else. But thankyou anyway

I looked at the Samsungs when I went to by my 32inch LCD for my gaming needs, the Samsungs seemed really bad at handling fast motion, they went really blurry everytime fast movement was on the screen.

Obviously for gaming this is a fairly significant issue.

In the end I went for the 700A model Panasonic, handles motion a lot better IMO and looks better too.

The only way you could really rule them out is to go take a look at them in action and see if you like them or not, hell take a console to a TV store and ask if you can test them out.

It's all down to personal preferance, you may see nothing wrong with the Samsungs.
