O.o basically any modern gfx card will work for Halo PC...unless you mean Halo 2, but even then most lower midrange and up cards will work. It doesn't take much afaik. Though Halo 2 does require DX10.

Halo 2 requires Vista not DX10 IIRC ^^ A 7600GT could probably do good in halo.

A 7600GT is overkill. My Intel Extreme integrated graphics ran Halo fine. o_o

    You're right a 6800GT would be perfect.

7600 is cheaper and easier to find... and you can run halo 1 pc with a 6200GT.

I ran it without issues on a PC with a Radeon 9800 Pro back in the day, so basically anything from the last six years or so [IMG]

Maybe with a hack, but "officially"... Halo 2 PC is Vista only. Despite not requiring a DX10 card.

Even the computers at the school I went to, with all integrated crap, could run the original Halo just fine. Halo doesn't take much at all...

halo runs on a 4200ti, it's not demanding, you may want something that can play more than halo though

    Isnt that abuse
Locking it for Vista so people have to buy crappy vista to play the game
As Apple Was sued for itunes because bought mp3's should only work for iPod though you can just add the bought Mp3's to any other Mp3 then ipod so ofcourse Apple won
But what Msoft does is exactly the same but this time true

Best choice for a cheap gaming card is imo the 7600GS.

Asus 7600GS Silent is an excellent choice imo. Only in PCI-E though.

If your pc doesn't run halo, you should get a new one and not just graphics card. But anyway like most of the people already said: almost every modern graphic card runs it.
You can easily get some used radeon 9800 pro with 30€ or so.

Do note the 6200GT may play Halo - but not at max settings.

It won't play Halo 2 at all.

Try a 6600GT instead - it still probably won't play Halo 2, but it's a decent if old graphics card.
