I'm babysitting an 8-9 year old boy, and I want him to play better games than the licensed crap he has. What are some excellent games for a very early reader? He usually skips text, so the less there is, the better.

Narrowed it down to:

Link to the Past
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Wario Ware Inc.

Should I add:
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland or Sonic Advance?

Should I add:
Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, or Yoshi's Island?

Oh yeah, the first three are a lock, but help me decide:

Should I add:
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland or Sonic Advance?

Should I add:
Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, or Yoshi's Island?

EDIT: He already has Super Mario Advance, at my behest.

kirby was actually originally made to be an easy game, so that's good.
but sonic is more exciting, so if it's what he's into, let him play that.

maybe link to the past is a little too advanced/too lengthy for him.
also, I wonder if he can react fast for wario ware, maybe that platformer, not microgame ones.

I say TMNT, SMB3 remake, Spyro, Drill Dozer, Prince of Persia, Ratatoullie, Spider Man 3.
