My DSTT gave up on me and I lost the proof of purchase so I don't really have a way to get a replacement DSTT.

I want to have a new flash cart and I want something else other than the DSTT and the R4 (most of my mates have it)

What is the best flash cart right now, regardless of the price because quality matters more to me.

    Thanks.

RTS, awesome support team/forums that you can contact right away, SDHC...

and most importantly, hasn't had one "problem ROM" like FFRoF that fails to run.... Works perfectly!

The M3 Real is my personal favorite. I never have any problems and I like what it brings to the table.

-no DLDI patching needed for homebrew.
    -SDHC compatible up to 8GB.
-Others that I don't have time to mention

It makes me happy to have coders/programmers constantly updating the system files. Always working toward perfection.

Recently they coughed up like 3 or 4 versions within the last few weeks currently v3.6.

The cyclods is very good I agree. Just a bit more on the expensive route but that also may be what your looking for.

There is the facts and my opinion, hope it helps you on your jouney. [IMG]

ive realized you need a unbias opinion on the "best flashcart in the market" because people will recommend flashcarts, but most of the time they only have 1 or 2.... so they can't really compare it to one another.

regardless, the link in the 2nd post should satisfy your curiosity

I have used 4 flashcarts so I can compare flash carts just fine. You might want to check your broken link so you can satisfy his curiosity.

Acekard RPG or CycloDS are the 2 best, expensive options.
N-Card Clones are great if you want simplicity but no features.
SCDS1 if you want diversity, features and don't want to spend much

I think every recent cart can boast those features...

    Your probably right.

Although last time i ran homebrew on the SCDS One it didn't work without patching.

Theres a topic about this matter you're asking..
    http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=75495

No need for starting the new topic..

My choice would be M3 Real Perfect Bundle or CycloDS, I've tried lots of carts, and end up with those two..
M3 Real is perfect for GBA compatibility, and it looks nice..CycloDS has great menu, and works pretty fast..

I have an M3 Real (and an Acekard 2) on the way from DealExtreme. I primarily bought the M3 Real because of the lead up to the Sakura release. I guess I'm halfway glad it was delayed since I probably won't get my M3 Real for another week or so. [IMG]

If you aren't worried about price, (even though it isn't all that expensive) and you are wanting insane quality go for an Evolution. In the last beta they just added GBA integration with an EZ Flash 3-in-1, and Homebrew soft-reset. In-game menu with LCD brightness adjustment, Real-Time Saving, Slow-motion, and soft reset. A very clean, fast and professional looking menu, and awesome support rounds out some of its main selling points. Not to mention they were the first with 100% download play, SDHC support, and correct me if I'm wrong; Wii DS connectivity.

Hmm, currently the CycloDS is the best flashcart on the market though one of the higher priced ones. I heard that the EDGE isn't a bad alternative for a cheaper CycloDS alternative.

    Edge be a clone!

but still nice but i would feel better if the team credited Cyclops....

with all the mindless sheep still thinking the R4 is the best, we should now call it
    Retards 4 DS.
Because allot of these R4 sheep are thick skulled.

YES it was a nice card when it first came out and for about 10 months after that
YES it was cheap but now its not
NO it doesn't have more features
NO SDHC is a big deal especially when cards cheaper than the R4 have it!
