Hacking Best Firmware/IOS?

I have a wii I currently have softmodded to 4.1U and IOS61/v4890. I'm wondering if there would be a better firmware/ios version to update to? I read somewhere that it would be advisable to upgrade to 4.3 and re-hack. Is this true?

It's unneeded to update to 4.3. If you want to hack your wii properly check out modmii.

I'm still on 3.2.
Never updated any cIOSses and only installed some newer IOSses like IOS 58 for USB2.

Once a softmod works fine you won't have to update it anymore.
(atleast I didn't update and everything runs perfectly fine)
