Hacking Best external Hard Drive to use with Nintendont and USBLoaderGX?

Anyone have any preference?

I have a huge library of GC and Wii games, and my 500GB HD is getting retired for something in the 1TB range.

Any suggestions?

I used this hard drive for quite a while with no problems at all its a 1TB USB 2.0, perfect for booting off of. It isn't available on Amazon right now but if you can find one, I recommend it. Here is the link to Amazon.

I've heard great things about powered enclosures. You free up a usb slot because you use mains power and you're free to upgrade any hard drive you like - maybe even with an SSD.

You can also plug the power plug of a Y cable into a USB wall power supply as long as it's 5V/500mA. Frees up a port.

I see them all the time at thrift stores for like $1.00.

That's what I do for my hard drive since my Wii U can't power my hard drive.
