This brand called GPD makes 3ds xl-sized laptops that run full desktop windows. IIRC a few dolphin games are playable on them Might wanna look into that

If you want to play 8 and 16 bit games all the systems mentioned in the poll will all do a fine job. If you want to emulate 3D games you’ll need a decent laptop.

These Android emulators work the best:

NES.emu €3,49 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.explusalpha.NesEmu - NES
MD.emu €3,99 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.explusalpha.MdEmu - SEGA Genesis / MegaDrive
My OldBoy! Free/€4,09 - https://play.google.com/store/search?q=my oldboy&c=apps&authuser - Nintendo Game Boy (Color)
My Boy! - Free/€4,99 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gba - Nintendo Game Boy Advance
SNES9x EX+ - Free - ihttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.explusalpha.Snes9xPlus - Super Nintendo

I own almost all free paid versions. If you want them, start a conversarion with me.
Still not convinced? Try out RetroArch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.retroarch
It’s free, has a bunch of emulator engines and it’s decent.

Still not convinced, try out a Raspberry Pi Zero with an LCD screen.
