Best device to emulate old games on the go?

I want to play some old games and wanted ask you guys what device do you prefer to emulate your old games

This brand called GPD makes 3ds xl-sized laptops that run full desktop windows. IIRC a few dolphin games are playable on them Might wanna look into that

You can always try an Android phone with a controller attatched to it.

If you want to play 8 and 16 bit games all the systems mentioned in the poll will all do a fine job. If you want to emulate 3D games you’ll need a decent laptop.

I didn’t word that properly. The PS Vita, Switches and smartphones will work but performance is a mixed bag.

I do this with a PS4 controller, it's not a good experience on the go, way too fiddly. Get a Vita like everyone says
