Which would be easiest to port emulators to the 3DS? From PC, PSP, Dingoo or something else?
I've seen a lot of people porting from PC and PSP.
Nop90 ported the Atari Lynx emulator from the Dingoo. BlargSNES was ported from the DS....
DS is preferable, PSP is good, PC will work, and I haven't seen anything ported from Dingoo (I forgot about the lynx emulator) .
DS architecture is closer to 3ds. So DS is obviously a better choice.
Too bad jenesisds isn't open source then
Dingoo wouldn't be a bad choice, same screen size and they share an ARM processor. GCW Zero would probably also work, as would the GP32 or GP2X.
Yeah, I think that's why we haven't seen seen a Genesis Emulator yet.
I dont pretend to know much, but I would guess the DS, like Vins said.
People already have said this, but from the work we've seen so far, i'd have to say DS and PSP.
Ill want a fast nes emulator for o3ds, maybe a port of nesds will be nice
Nesds was perfect. The only issue was the low resolution on the DS screen.
NES resolution: 256x224
DS resolution: 256x192
We can change that and just port it over to 3ds right? Increase resolution. Its written in asm so it will work fast but will it work with the 3ds devkits?
