Going back to the prior post, as I'm in a similar situation. Can he not use his gateway to install Sysupdater in Sysnand (using BBM, DevMenu, et.c), and avoid all this extra work?

Updating sysnand in gateway sysnand will result in a brick.

Do you think you can try this one: go.gateway-3ds.com

I'm not sure if this one will work, but it's worth a shot!

EDIT: OH SORRY, I misunderstood. That's a really good idea actually. Get Dev Menu.3ds from gateway's site and install Sysupdater.cia with it. Then use it in RxTools dev/pasta mode.
