I've noticed over time my new 3ds' battery has been depleting faster than when I first started using my 3ds. I want a battery that lasts longer compared to the original new 3ds battery, but isn't too heavy. Any suggestions?

I would suggest you buy soomething like a 40 000 mha external battery with usb port. You will also be able to charge other devices while away.
