Last i checked 16 gb's are really over priced so your better off getting 2 8gb's for $60-$70

probably the cheapest way is to get

    2x 8gb micro SD cards
dual micro SD -> memory stick adapter

so you end up with a 16gb memory stick

don't stereotype dealextreme you are wrong in what you say but not completely wrong, some of the products that get sent out are indeed fakes but they do send out more legit items than fakes I have never had a single fake item from dealextreme and I've bought memory cards, and various other items from them the only thing that could be seen as fake is there delivery times [IMG]

    back to the topic -
this is what I have -

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16489 - my photofast is the real thing, this is where I bought it.

http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC/Kings...-Card---Class-4 - and I bought 2 of these to fill the photofast brilliant buy very cheap and yes they are also real. [IMG] (by the way £11.99 GBP = $20.20 USD)

I have also ordered a Photofast from DX when I first heard about it. Then I bought 2-8GB MicroSD's and those only cost I THINK $40 something. So if you do the math:

    Photofast + 2-8GB MicroSD's = $50-51.

A good deal than buying on official Sony brand 16GB. [IMG]

But warning, the Photofast is extremely fragile. The very first one I got, I tried converting multiple CSO's, to ISO's. And I did like 4 at one time to speed up time, and the card got fried from all the converting.

I'm on my second one right now, ordered back in April/March, and it's still working till this day. I've learned my lesson, heh.

You might be better of getting a 16Gb Micro SD and putting it into an adapter.

Or you can be awesome like me and get the Photofast dual-MicroSD-slot adapter, and two 16GB MicroSD Cards to boot.

Not that it isn't overkill or anything xD

I have a brandless one for 44 euro's. 16GB memory, read speed of 14mb/s and a write speed of 11mb/s. The cheap price is because it's brandless and so far it's been working MUCH better then my original 8GB sony card. The sony one caused lag on games like God of War (no, it wasn't a .CSO) and got broken while it was inside my PSP. I had to put it in several times in a row for it to notice the card and my PC would, what appears to be randomly, stop reading from/writing to the card aswell. This new brandless one has had no lag at all, loading times have improved and putting files on it has become much faster than before.

Here in the Netherlands this thing for 44 euro's costs about the same as a 8GB microSD with Photofast duo adapter. My decision was easily made.

Here's the site where I bought it, I'm not sure if it will help you find one near your location though. If you can't, maybe this site will ship it there. Don't know if it would come out cheaper then a branded if you have to pay shipping costs.

Yeah with that in you have the equivilent of the maximum memory for the psp go legit wise. Meaning the internal 16gb and a magicgate or whatever legit MS 16 gb. Unless someone has a psp go andd acts smart like you. Then they have 48 gb's

Except the PSPGo Won't have that kind of storage for a while because it uses Memory Stick Micro... What is Sony thinking!? Honestly, they kill of UMD in the Go and replace it with another shitty medium!

    Doesn't matter, I have two PSP-2000's, I don't need a Go [IMG]

(chain of posts relevant), first person to make a PSP as convoluted as Japanese agglutination wins a free fake MS from DealExtreme.

the guy hasn't mad the claim that nothing is fake - only that not everything is fake

personally i believe there's more fake stuff than real (at least on the stuff i'm interested in) but ultimately so long as it works as intended i don't care - i've saved so much money buying from dealextreme

doesn't matter if they're fake or not, just as long as they work fine

I've got 3 DX cards, all "Fakes" and all work fine for PSP, and have for over a year now

but the read and write speeds are horrid compared to real sticks though

Ive dealt with fake sticks in the past (from people who thought they had real sticks) and from when I was modding PSP's for people in my school
